Taniwha Daffodils are now closed for the 2016 season - thank you so much to everyone who came along this year, we loved having you. Keep an eye on this page for the 2017 dates.

‚ÄčEasily found and well sign posted, Taniwha Daffodils can be seen alongside State highway 2, with drifts of daffodils marking the roadside. This gorgeous site can be seen with the backdrop of the snow covered Ruahine Ranges in the distance.

Entry is free. Daffodils are available for picking, proceeds from the sale of these go to our chosen charity - Plunket.
Enjoy the display of many hundreds of daffodil varieties, planted in a 20 acre park-like setting, amongst mature trees and ponds.

Delicious takeaway barrista coffee and tea can be purchased from the "coffee shed," on site.
Pack a warm jacket and waterproof shoes - just in case, it is spring!

Opening weekend: Thursday 1st September - Friday 30th September.
Open 7 days a week over a 4 - 5 week period. 8am - 5pm.

Pick your own daffodils - $5 for 30 stems / $7.50 - $10.00 for a pre-picked bunch when available.
Buckets are provided for picking.
(Please refrain from picking tight buds - these will be charged at $1.00 a stem.)
Bunches wrapped in cellophane and tied with a ribbon.
Cash preferred but Eftpos available (signal dependent)
